Privacy policy
Effective October 15, 2026
1975 ("this site") is run by karamage ("the operator") as an individual. This page explains what information this site handles, where it is stored and what it is used for.
Accounts, cookies and analytics
There are no accounts on this site. The operator does not use cookies and has not installed any analytics or advertising tools.
Information kept only in your browser
A life in progress and finished biographies are saved in your browser's storage (localStorage), so that you can pick up where you left off and see your past lives on the top page. They are not sent to the operator's server. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.
Information sent to write a biography
When a life ends, its record is sent to Cloudflare, Inc.'s Workers AI to write the biography. The record includes the simulated timeline, the name you entered, and the short notes you wrote during the life. The operator does not store this record. It is processed under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Information stored when you create a share link
Only when you create a share link (for example with "Post to X" or "Copy link"), the following is stored on the operator's server (Cloudflare Workers KV):
- The biography's title, band text and body
- A summary of the life (name, sex, birth year and prefecture, education, work, family, year and cause of death, the life band, your short notes, and so on)
- The share image
Anyone with the link can read a shared biography. Please do not put real people's names, contact details or anything else you would not want public into the name or notes. There is no set retention period. To have a biography deleted, contact us with its share link.
Access records
This site runs on Cloudflare's servers. When you open a page, Cloudflare records your IP address, browser type, the URL and the time. The operator may look at these records to investigate problems or deal with abuse.
Outside services
- Fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading them sends your IP address and similar data to Google LLC.
- "Post to X" opens X's posting screen. What happens there is covered by X's policies.
Sharing with third parties
The operator does not share the information handled on this site with third parties, except where required by law. Cloudflare and Google, mentioned above, are services used to run the site.
Changes to this policy
If what we handle or how we use it changes, we will update this page.
Contact
For questions about this site, or to ask us to delete a biography you shared, please send a message to the operator's X account.
