Terms of use
Effective October 15, 2026
These terms apply when you use 1975 ("this site"), run by karamage ("the operator"). By using this site, you agree to them.
1. About this site
This site is a free simulation in which you live a fictional life year by year, based on Japanese official statistics, and an AI writes a biography at the end. Everyone in it, including the person you play, is fictional.
2. Accuracy of figures and biographies
- Figures are rounded from official statistics and interpolated between years. Please do not use them as the basis for real decisions about education, work, marriage, health or money.
- Biographies are written automatically by an AI. They may contain errors or awkward or inappropriate wording.
- Difficult events such as illness, disasters, divorce and suicide happen at their statistical rates.
3. Sharing
When you create a share link, anyone with the link can read that biography. Please do not put anything that identifies a real person, or anything hurtful to others, into the name or your notes.
The operator may delete shared biographies that break these terms or that it considers inappropriate, without notice. To have a biography you shared deleted, please contact us.
4. What you must not do
- Break the law or act against public order and morals
- Infringe the rights, reputation or privacy of others
- Pass off a biography as the real history of a real person
- Put excessive load on the servers, for example by generating pages or biographies in bulk with a program
- Access the site's systems without permission or interfere with its operation
5. Rights
The rights to this site's code, design, text and artwork belong to the operator. You are free to share the biographies and share images of the lives you lived on social media or blogs.
6. Changes and discontinuation
The operator may change, pause or end this site without notice. Shared biographies and records saved in your browser may become unavailable as a result.
7. Limitation of liability
The operator does not guarantee that the site is accurate or always available, and is not liable for damage arising from its use, except in cases of the operator's intent or gross negligence.
8. Changes to these terms
The operator may change these terms when needed, and will announce changes on this page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
